Senior 1 Dance Class (Primary 6 & 7) is an energetic, focused and progressive class designed for older primary dancers who are ready for more advanced training. This non-competitive combination class continues to develop Lyrical, Modern and Commercial/Hip Hop techniques while introducing more complex choreography, performance quality and technical precision in a supportive environment.

Classes place a strong emphasis on refining technique, strength, control, coordination, rhythm and musicality through structured exercises, travelling sequences and dynamic choreography. Dancers will further develop their understanding of dance terminology while improving flexibility, stamina, artistry and stage presence.

Senior 1 dancers are encouraged to work with focus, discipline and confidence, while developing independence, teamwork and expressive performance skills as they prepare for more advanced levels of training.

All dancers should attend class with their hair tied back, wear appropriate dance footwear and bring a bottle of water.
