Senior 2 Dance Class (S1) is a dynamic and progressive class designed for secondary school dancers who are ready to develop their technique and performance skills further. This non-competitive combination class continues training in Lyrical, Modern and Commercial/Hip Hop styles while introducing more advanced choreography, strength work and performance quality in a supportive environment.
Classes focus on refining technique, control, coordination, rhythm, musicality and stamina through structured exercises, travelling sequences and more complex choreography. Dancers will continue to expand their understanding of dance terminology while developing artistry, flexibility, strength and confident stage presence.
Senior 2 dancers are encouraged to work with commitment, discipline and creativity, while developing independence and strong teamwork skills as they progress in their dance training.
All dancers should attend class with their hair tied back, wear appropriate dance footwear and bring a bottle of water.
